The Quick Reference Transit Guide

  • The day after pick up is the first day of the transit time.
  • Pick up or delivery shouldn't be scheduled on weekends or Federal holidays.
  • These are the minimum allowable transit times, and many shipments will have RDD's beyond the minimum transit time to better reflect the needs of the customer. 
  • With proper justification, a lesser time may be assigned to meet the needs of the customer. The carrier should be notified that shipment is less than minimum time.
  • For shipments to and from Alaska, additional transit times are constructed as follows:
